Goodbye Woolworths.
After 99 years of trading this stalwart of Britain’s High Street shopping has finally ceased trading, with the remaining few shops finally shutting their doors at 6.30pm tonight, barely two hours ago as I write this blog. 7,000 people have lost their jobs as a result.
